One sunny afternoon, before Divya could even walk, I had her snuggled in my arms on one of our regular strolls around the neighborhood.

As we passed a yard, a loud and cheerful dog barked at us through the fence. I braced myself, expecting Divya to get startled or cry.

But instead, this tiny baby did something unforgettable—She barked right back.

With all the confidence in the world, Divya let out her best baby “Ruff! Ruff!” Her little eyes sparkled, and she even smiled, thrilled to be in on the conversation.

It was as if they understood each other—a baby and a barking dog, speaking the same joyful language. That’s the moment I knew: Divya already had a special bond with dogs. It’s in her heart.
